Acupuncture

How Acupuncture Works: Acupuncture is a natural and scientifically-proven safe way to stay healthy, treat pain and address other systemic problems in the body. Appointments are usually 45-75 minutes and involve the use of small sterile medical grade single-use needles as fine as a human hair or a whisker.

In a nutshell, it works by stimulating neurotransmitters and activating the immune system. The “feel good” chemicals that the body releases in response to acupuncture such as opioids, acetylcholine and norepinephrine help to encourage blood circulation, induce relaxation limit both pain and inflammation and spike white blood cell counts.
